STEP Story, & A Le Meridien Lass

Today was such a challenge to myself.
Gotta get tonnes of things done in a very short time span...
Learnt and immediately created a video for the second batch STEPs presentation, which take me around an hour to do so.
I was so surprise by my talent XD
Never knew I can learn and do it so fast.
Hah!

Anyhow, after the presentation is done, I went to Old Town and to spent my RM 20 vouchers.
Took a photo, and I realize how I love the grayscale setting for my webcam. Aha~

After that, spent another 2 hours, sitting in front the screen to reedit and put in music for the video.

Never did I ever do a video like this, not even for my high school mates or who so ever.

That feeling was awesome, when I done inserting all the gosh damned caption, animation, time setting, and finally convert it to a Video file! And as the time are close to eight, Old Town is closing, so I went and upload the video in the library.

At the library as I am uploading the video, it so happened that i met with this lady I knew during FHM. (Well, her name... Kit Yee? Ket Yee? Just so sorry that I dont really know her name =P)
She asked me whether am I currently working with Shangri-la, as she saw me last Thursday, during the presentation of Shangri-La's Corporate Training Programme.
I told her that I'm not and I briefly describe in what programme I'm in at the moment and explain to her how the mechanism work.

To my very surprise, she was also under some similar programme where she was tied up with StarWood. And she has such huge passion towards her hotel.
When I listen to her speaking of her hotel and why she chosen Le Meridien over Sheraton or Westin, I can really see that sparkles in her eyes.
She told me every detail of the difference between the three hotels and their core values, then she told me, in a joyous tone, how excited she is looking forward to her next training in Le Meridien this coming December.

It is very true that I do carry that passion with me, and I am extremely proud of being 'Shang'.
And I would also loved to show that passion to the others, why I believe in Shangri-La's value and why did I made my choice of going to Traders for my very first intern.
But this is the very first time I come across someone with a passion so similar but difference, in a sense, and it is exciting.
I would not challenge her view that Le Meridien are beautiful and great, but I would not surrender to her that Shang or Traders are any little worse.
But I would really like to meet more people like this, people with a passion.
The real passion, so SINCERE that it is capable to influence the audience to feel that passion she carried with her.
I'm tired of people faking a passion just to impress. The big words, the idealistic dream of future, they sound so faked and I can never see any passion from their eyes or their smile.

I remember, she said,
"There is a woody scent in the lobby of Le Meridien, you cant miss it. Whenever you smell that fragrance, you know, you're at Meridien already."
And I have no doubt about it.
